About Me

I'm Jim Logan of Extreme Inspections, an experienced, seasoned professional who has examined 4,000 residences over the past eight years. I'm a member of ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors), am certified by International Code Certification in residential properties, carry errors and omissions insurance, and I have a computer degree in computerized drafting and design. I've had 25 years of residential construction and carpentry experience, including building and remodeling new and old homes in Connecticut, as well as inspecting numerous old homes in Atlanta, Georgia. I now cover Atlanta's metropolitan area.

 

I have a genuine interest in my clients' safety and well-being. From top to bottom, I inspect the property for any existing or potential safety hazards that may exist, and report on them in a clear, easy-to-understand format. I also check for problems with the structural integrity of the property.

 

Committed to consumer education, I urge you to be present at the inspection, a valuable educational experience during which you can ask questions on the spot and better understand my report. I offer maintenance tips, and share knowledge of the home that gives you control, confidence, and peace of mind about your decision and negotiations. Whether you are buying or selling, knowing the condition of the house guarantees a fair, smooth transaction, especially with today's current high cost of real estate.

 

My advice does not end with the inspection; you are welcome to call anytime after the inspection. I well understand that buying or marketing a property is one of the largest financial and emotional investments that you can make.

 

My thoroughly detailed, organized report is a combination checklist and narrative, with problem areas highlighted throughout. Three copies are generated for you on-site. The report will tell you exactly what to expect in both interior and exterior maintenance before you buy or sell, to avoid all unpleasant surprises.

 

I request that you call at least 24-48 hours in advance to schedule an inspection. I currently do not perform new construction-code inspections.
